We introduce you to Nieves Carmona, founder of Cuero Artesano ®

With over 15 years dedicated to leather craftsmanship, Nieves has extensive experience in this art. She worked as a craftswoman at the prestigious LOEWE® luxury handbag factory, where she perfected her technique and developed a passion for detail and quality that she conveys today in each of her workshops.

Since 2012, Nieves has taught introductory and advanced courses to more than 800 people, in small groups or with up to 20 participants. Her experience encompasses working with people of all ages and abilities, including those with physical and psychological disabilities, always with the goal of transmitting her love for this craft.

Passionate, creative, a perfectionist, and innovative, Nieves is characterized by her patience and dedication to continuing to learn and improve every day. Her teaching method is unique: she helps students shape their ideas while teaching the specific techniques needed for each project, with no prior experience required.

In their workshops, you will learn techniques such as embossing, engraving, molding, modeling, decorative techniques, leatherwork, hand and machine stitching, among others.
